Branding: Project Safe Refuge
Project Safe Refuge is a charity based in the Netherlands who are in the process of developing housing for people forcibly displaced from their homes with a focus on Ukrainian refugees. I initially joined the team as a social media strategist, but I put that on hold to spearhead the group's long-desired visual rebrand. My work with PSR is very much a work-in-progress as we continue collaborate closely to make informed design choices regarding a new visual identity system. New developments will be added to this page as they're made.

Moodboard Development
Once I took on the rebrand project, my first move was to create a few different moodboards to understand the emotional tone PSR wanted to convey moving forward. I curated three distinct tones to present and discuss. The team felt strongly about #3, which I referenced frequently as I progressed in the design process. Completed in Adobe Illustrator.

PSR First Logo Drafts
After establishing a moodboard, I got some insight on what the team was looking for in terms of a logo, and I put together my first wave of drafts. I aimed to find a balance between the excitement and hope of the moodboard and the technical edge of architecture. We're currently figuring out typeface and layout. Completed in Adobe Illustrator.
