Branding: Pink Clover Cafe

Pink Clover Cafe is a small business that sells stickers on Etsy. As the store’s sole designer, I was tasked with designing a logo as well as several of the products to be sold. I pinpointed our target audience (American women active on social media aged 15-25 with an interest in "cutesy" things) and built a visual identity catered to that demographic. In all the work I did for PCC, I aimed to capture the brand’s personality: cute, playful, and feminine.

Pink Clover Cafe Logo & Development

For PCC’s logo, I wanted something lighthearted and youthful, which I found in the hand-drawn feel of the symbol and the curly typeface. As for colors, I landed on pink to stay true to the store’s name and green to reference a real clover as well as to ground the pastel in something bolder. Completed in Adobe Illustrator.

Pink Clover Possum Stickers

PCC wanted stickers that were relatively simple, appealed to the core audience of 15-25 year old women, and were, above all, cute. I created the concept of a series of stickers combining fruits with animals. The subjects were drawn simply, and I developed the visual style to look like it was drawn in crayon. The baby possums were designed to look like unripe strawberries. At the time of my departure, the strawberry possum stickers were the #1 best sellers. Completed in Procreate.

Pink Clover Cafe Cat Stickers

The orange cat stickers were another in the fruit animal sticker line. I drew inspiration from the "hang in there" cat. At the time of my departure, these three sticker sets were the store’s #2 best sellers. Completed in Procreate.

Pink Clover Cafe Mouse Stickers

The cherry mouse stickers were another in the fruit animal sticker line. At the time of my departure, these three sticker sets were the store’s #3 best sellers. Completed in Procreate.

Pink Clover Cafe Fruit Tile

In addition to the stickers, PCC commissioned graphics of the fruits used in the animal stickers as tiled patterns for future use on other products like notepads. I maintained the crayon style and filled the space with various stages of growth. Completed in Procreate.

Pink Clover Cafe Product Photos

These product photos were taken by another team member and sent to me for retouching. I adjusted the contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, color balance, exposure, and file size. Completed in Photoshop.
