Branding: Music My Mother Would Not Like
Music My Mother Would Not Like was a Zoom showcase series that gave a virtual stage to 2-4 folk musicians every Tuesday night. Recently, I was put in charge of a visual overhaul for the show’s branding. My goal was to create a modern yet retro feel while staying true to a few existing design principles, such as the usage of red and blue and the general layouts. The series never had an official logo, so I knew the rest of its visual identity system had to be iconic enough to survive without.
